Afterglow Upcycled Lace Tunic & Bronze Denim Set – UK 10

The white tunic began as a simple, plain tunic dress. The lace detailing was reclaimed from a separate full-length lace dress, part of which had previously been transformed into a top. Rather than discard the remaining lace, it was repurposed to create the floral shoulder details and statement lace trim around the hem of the tunic.

The bronze-toned black denim trousers began as a classic pair of trousers. One leg was carefully reconstructed by cutting into the original denim, inserting a contrasting black lace/textured panel and rejoining the sections. Gold-tone eyelets were then individually added below the panel, creating an intentionally asymmetric finish while retaining the original character of the trousers.

Together, the pieces capture the idea behind Vivifica: taking garments and materials that already exist and creatively giving them another life.
